PITTSBURGH, PA –October 2000: Elliance, the advertising community’s strategic eBusiness technology and Internet solutions partner, has increased its staff by 6 to accommodate client’s growing service needs. The new employees who have recently joined the staff at Elliance bring a vast range of information technology, design, marketing and strategy development.

Mahdi Abulaban, New Media Developer, brings a strong consulting background to his position at Elliance and has held several Systems Consultant positions throughout his career for CAP GEMINI America, Inc. and OMEGA Systems. Mahdi’s extensive knowledge of information systems provides clients with leading edge technical development and applications programming to drive their eBusiness initiatives. Mahdi resides in Greentree, PA with his wife and two children.

Julie Lackman, New Media Designer, brings over 8 years of production and design experience to Elliance. Julie was previously employed with John Brady Design Consultants where she specialized in website production and interactive graphics. As a new media designer, Julie works with a team of developers, programmers and information architects to create compelling and effective web designs that support and reinforce our customers’ marketing goals and brand identity. Julie resides in Cranberry Township, PA with her husband.

Mike Procopio, Systems Administrator, Mike brings more than 6 years of information technology experience to his position at Elliance. Previously employed with Lennox International Inc. as an IT Support Consultant, Mike has held a variety of information technology positions within the United States Air Force specializing in network operating systems and hardware. Mike manages all systems and servers for Elliance to ensure optimum performance for the company and our clients on a day-to-day basis. Mike resides in New Castle, PA with his wife and two daughters.

David Purdue, Digital Marketing Strategist, brings more than 25 years of strategic marketing and brand positioning expertise to his role at Elliance. Dave excelled during his 20 + years with American Eagle Outfitters (AE) receiving promotions from Stores Supervision to Director of Production and Database Management for the AE marketing group. At AE, Dave was integral to the development of the American Eagle Outfitters brand, marketing strategies, web site creation, supervision of the daily operations of the AE marketing group and development of the AE store design and rollout of 150 new stores. His special assignments included investor relations and Wall Street presentations for AE's IPO. Dave joined Communifax Direct in 1998 and was quickly promoted to vice president of client services where he managed and directed all client and account development to ensure integrated marketing solutions. As a digital marketing strategist for Elliance, Dave works closely with clients to keep them abreast of the latest digital marketing trends and techniques as well as develop digital marketing campaigns to support and reinforce their overall marketing campaigns.

Roger Slayton, Vice President of eBusiness Enterprise Strategy, has more than 20 years of experience combining sales management with marketing technology. He was previously employed as the chief information officer for Lender's Service, Inc. – an operating unit of Merrill Lynch and previously Prudential. At LSI, he directed the marketing strategy including electronic commerce, technology infrastructure, Internet/Intranet, data management and strategic technology initiatives. In his new position, Roger will work closely with clients to formulate a vision and strategy for applying digital technology to accomplish their business objectives. Roger resides in Wexford, PA with his wife and son.

Gregory Snyder, Project Manager, brings more than 15 years of progressive business management experience with an emphasis on information systems, manufacturing supervision and industrial engineering. Previously employed with Invensys Energy Metering as a Business Systems Manager, Greg supervised a secure Internet interface to business systems and the implementation of a shop floor data system while managing the organization’s Y2K compliance efforts. In his role as Project Manager for Elliance, Greg is the customer advocate ensuring effective client communication, prioritization of schedules and providing updates to staff and customers to ensure an optimal business experience. Greg resides in new Bethlehem, PA with his wife and two children.
