July 01, 2005

Elliance, Inc., a Pittsburgh-based website marketing firm, added three staff members in an effort to streamline internal processes and maximize customer satisfaction.

“Great web experiences are created by terrific people who possess a deep understanding of customer psychology and can execute a rational process,” said Abu Noaman, CEO of Elliance. “Our new team members are passionate about both.”

Elliance’s newly appointed project manager, Mark Kubaska, serves as a liaison between the client and Elliance’s development team. His duties include project planning and resource allocation; enhancing project timeliness and ensuring top quality products and service for Elliance’s customers.

With 12 years of industry experience, Kubaska previously worked with E-Transport, Medibuy, and Ciber. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Pittsburgh and graduated from the Technology Commercialization program sponsored by Carnegie Mellon University.

In the newly created position of web copywriter, Carole Lucas will create persuasive messaging for client websites, which encourage visitors to take action. Lucas knows how to incorporate key search terms in her writing, a key element in amplifying the search marketing success of client websites.

Lucas has written for every form of media and can adjust to the nuances of each. Her 20 years of experience as a magazine editor, freelance journalist and advertising copywriter enables her to handle all aspects of web writing. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in journalism and communications from Point Park University and a M.Ed. from the University of Pittsburgh.

The vital assets an information architect offers to the planning process prompted Elliance to hire Rob Miller for this position. His tasks will include leading Elliance’s discovery process to meet with clients and assess their web site needs. He also produces deliverables such as project briefs and flow diagrams to enhance the client’s interactive experience.

Miller has over 8 years industry experience in information and solution architecture for business-to-business at a variety of companies. He obtained an undergraduate degree from Bennington College and holds both a master’s degree and a PhD from the University of Pittsburgh.

In its 10+ years of business, Pittsburgh-based Elliance has been recognized by Business 2.0, Inc. Magazine, the eMarketing Association and the Web Marketing Association amongst others for the creation of outstanding interactive web experiences and smart search engine strategies.
