Elliance in the Running to Spend a Day with Michael Dell

For a small business owner, the chance to spend a day chatting about best business practices with Michael Dell and other executives at Dell would be a dream come true.

Abu Noaman, CEO of Elliance, is one step closer to making that dream a reality since Elliance was just named one of the ten finalists in the Dell/National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB) Small Business Excellence Award.

Elliance is the only Pennsylvania firm being considered for this award.

This award honors small businesses that instill the spirit of innovation and apply information technology (IT) to improve customer experience.

Elliance used their ennect brand of online tools – ennectMail, ennectEvent and ennectSurvey – as an example of how they employed information technology to improve customer experience.

“After working with a number of mid-size to enterprise level corporations, Elliance was impressed with the number of custom applications companies of this size could afford for their sales, marketing and event planning efforts,” explained Noaman.

Elliance created the ennect brand of online marketing tools to give small and medium sized businesses a cost-effective way to become more customer-centric.

“We realized small and medium sized businesses often don’t have the resources to create these type of tools, yet they still need the ability to build strong relationships with their customers,” added Noaman. “The ennect tools can help a company enhance customer experience and smaller businesses have much to gain by putting this technology to use.”

As a finalist, Elliance will receive a Dell Latitude notebook and a one-year membership to NFIB. If named the winner, Elliance will receive $30,000 in technology and professional services from Dell, a “Day with Dell” program with Dell executives including Michael Dell; a lifetime membership to NFIB; and other prizes.

According to Noaman, the best part of this winning this award would be the chance to sit face-to-face with the man who revolutionized the personal computing industry.

Dell will announce the winner this fall.
