Abu Noaman, CEO of Elliance, Inc., a Leading Digital Marketing Agency, Is Featured Panelist at Entrepreneur’s Growth Conference

Duquesne University’s Small Business Development Center announced that Abu Noaman, CEO of Elliance, Inc, an award-winning digital marketing agency headquartered in Pittsburgh, will be one of the three featured kick-off speakers at the University’s Entrepreneur’s Growth Conference (EGC) on May 9, 2012.

The EGC, now in its 14th year, is one of the largest, longest-running entrepreneurship events in Pennsylvania.  This annual event attracts over 400 aspiring entrepreneurs and business owners seeking advice, tips and tactics on raising money, using social media, selling strategies, managing cash flow, finding alternative funding sources, leveraging green business trends and other timely topics.

Dozens of leading business owners, service providers and economic development professionals volunteer time to lead the EGC’s 15 workshops and to talk one-on-one with attendees in the afternoon business-building tradeshow.

Noaman is well-known for his ability to explain complex ideas in simplest terms, a gift that has been instrumental in helping Elliance clients capitalize on growth opportunities and has led to his status as a sought-after speaker at marketing conferences across the country.

Noaman will be among the trio of presenters on the event’s kick-off event, The Road to Achieving Greatness roundtable.  He will share some of the most significant developments in the 16-year history of Elliance, Inc., a digital marketing agency with clients in higher education, manufacturing and community banking, as well as nonprofit institutions. 

Noaman will reveal how the Elliance sales model evolved as it moved from start-up to growth and how this transformation helped to propel the agency to the forefront of the digital marketing industry. Other panelists include Yvonne Campos, CEO of Campos, Inc. and Dorothy Andreas, President of The Sewickley Spa.

Named “eMarketer of the Year” in 2010 by the Pittsburgh chapter of the Business Marketing Association, Noaman was a finalist for the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year, sponsored by USA Today and CNN and has served on the board of International Business Marketing Association.  The Interactive Media Awards recognized his company as one of the Top 10 Agencies of 2008.  Elliance was also named an Inc. Inner City 100 and Business 2.0 Top 18 Web Development Firms.

Prior to launching Elliance, he obtained a B.S. in Computer Science from Cornell and an M.B.A. in Entrepreneurship and Marketing from Carnegie Mellon University.
